IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

Intense pulsed light systems are non-LASER, emitting light across a broad range of wave-lengths from orange to the Infra Red of the spectrum. The system filters the light emitted from the flashlamp so that the harmful shorter wavelengths, including UV, and the unusable longer wavelengths are removed.

The IPL system provides a software programme controlled delivery system that automatically delivers the safe parameters for each skin type and patient requirements.

The broad wavelength system can effectively treat unwanted hair, vascular lesions and photodamaged skin using a course of multiple treatments to allow for gradual improvement with treatment parameters below the threshold for serious adverse effects.

This provides the significant advantage over LASERS, being non-ablative, are associated with minimal risks and no patient down time.
