Chris Inglefield was born in Trinidad, and after graduating with
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Canada, he obtained his Medical
Degree from the University of the West Indies, in Jamaica and Trinidad.
He pursued his post-graduate training in Surgery in the UK. His
initial training in General Surgery and Orthopaedics, culminated
in his passing the examination for admission to the Royal College
of Surgeons of England as a Fellow. He became passionate about Plastic
Surgery and began his specialist training in accredited Hospitals
in Scotland and England. After nearly 6 years developing his specialist
skills and experience he passed the final examination in Plastic
Surgery and was awarded the FRCS (Plast). This examination confirms
the candidates expertise in all aspects of Plastic, Reconstructive
and Cosmetic Surgery. Having completed his specialist training and
obtained his Specialist exam in Plastic Surgery, he was admitted
on to the Specialist Register of the UK General Medical Council.
Chris Inglefield has been a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgeon in the NHS since 1998 and has provided a high standard of
care in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery privately during
this time. He has trained under Mr James Dalrymple FRCS developing
his skills in Gender Reassignment Surgery. His areas of special
interest include Male to Female Surgery, Facial Surgery, Breast
Surgery and Body Contouring. He is committed to providing his patients
with the highest standard of care and his approachable, professional
and caring manner facilitates a thorough understanding of his patient’s
motivations, goals and fears. This enables the agreement of a treatment
plan that is in the patient’s best interest at all times.
In order to ensure that the highest standard of care is delivered
and continually improved, he regularly participates in Audit of
his work. Because your experiences and views are important, he conducts
regular Patient Satisfaction Surveys to monitor and improve the
care received by his patients. He attends regular courses and meetings
both nationally and internationally that facilitate the exchange
of information and ensures that his patients continue to receive
the high standard of care that they demand and rightly deserve.
